.NET Core 1.0 Released

Microsoft is today releasing the open-source .NET Core 1.0 milestone.

.NET Core 1.0 is available for download from Microsoft.com. Stop by there for more details if you are interested in .NET or via their GitHub.io page.

This release is supported across Windows, Linux, FreeBSD, and OS X. CentOS, Debian, openSUSE, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Fedora, and Ubuntu are among the distributions they test the .NET Core Runtime with for regressions.

Update: Microsoft has now published a blog post with more details about .NET Core 1.0.
