PC-BSD 10.2 Released With Installer Improvements, Other Enhancements
The latest version of the desktop-focused PC-BSD operating system is now available.
PC-BSD 10.2 is, of course, based off the brand new FreeBSD 10.2 that was released last week.
Besides updating the base system off the upstream FreeBSD 10.2-RELEASE packages, there are improvements to PC-BSD's installer, new CD-sized network installation media, iocage is now the jail management backend, a disk manager GUI is now available from the installer GUI, there's improved localization, support to enable/disable SSD and IPv6 at install-time, improved support for 4K monitors, an enterprise package repository, and other changes.
