The release of PHP 7 was delayed earlier this month when they decided to do another release candidate. PHP 7.0 final was expected today, but now it's been pushed out once more with the need for an RC8.

PHP 7.0 RC8 contains 11 more bug fixes over what's shipped by PHP 7.0 RC7 earlier this month. PHP 7 is performing very well and offers a lot of new functionality, but now it won't be until December when PHP 7.0 is going to be released. The hope now is for PHP 7.0.0 on 3 December.

More details on today's PHP 7.0 RC8 release can be found via PHP.net.
