PHORONIX TEST SUITE
Coming about three weeks after the initial Phoronix Test Suite 5.8 milestone release is the second development build for our open-source, cross-platform benchmarking software.

Phoronix Test Suite 5.8-Belev continues to be on track for releasing before the end of the quarter. Over the past few weeks some of the changes to this Git code includes:

- Many more improvements to the Phoromatic implementation. This also includes a small SQLite change for some that ran into some instr() issues with older builds of PHP SQLite. Aside from that though and other fixes, there's many new features!

- Forcing ccache to be disabled during testing.

- The start of some new Phoronix Test Suite hooks support.

- Reporting of Btrfs RAID levels to the system component table when running disk benchmarks.

The predominant focus at the moment continues to be on further enhancing Phoromatic, as sought after by Phoronix Test Suite commercial customers with our client benchmarking software continuing to be in great shape. You can download the latest build from Phoronix-Test-Suite.com or by visiting Phoronix-Test-Suite on GitHub. Stay tuned for more PTS 5.8 and Phoromatic details in the days/weeks ahead; commercial support continues to be available by contacting us.
