PHORONIX TEST SUITE
The second development milestone/test release of the upcoming Phoronix Test Suite 6.8-Tana is now available for your cross-platform, open-source benchmarking needs.

Phoronix Test Suite 6.8 Milestone 2 brings the new FlameGrapher module for providing integrated Linux perf / FlameGraphs for each test during benchmarking as one of the main user-facing changes with this release.

Phoronix Test Suite 6.8 M2 also has some improvements around the result-file-to-pdf sub-command, new module hooks, and two other new modules. Besides the flame graphing component there is also results_custom_export as a new module for showing how to dump Phoronix Test Suite result data into custom file formats. Additionally, the new log_exporter module makes it easy to archive system logs and test result run logs to arbitrary directories via the COPY_TEST_RUN_LOGS_TO and COPY_SYSTEM_LOGS_TO environment variables that are honored at run-time.
