PHORONIX
Speaking of not taking a day off from work in over three years, six years ago this weekend was a lighter schedule when there was the Phoronix tour of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster site.

If you weren't reading Phoronix back in 2010, you can go check out my many pictures and lengthy text in Touring Chernobyl In 2010.

While not directly related to tech, this Chernobyl article continues to be one of the most viewed stories ever on Phoronix. It still is one of the most interesting places I've ever been in the world.

So go checkout the original article if interested in Chernobyl. Unfortunately due to the budget being tighter these days and no longer traveling much and rarely taking a day off work, there hasn't yet been any other scheduled Phoronix "It Blew Up Real Good" Tour -- we can always dream, so any suggestions for the next location?
