PHORONIX TEST SUITE
The third development milestone release of Phoronix Test Suite 6.4 "Hasvik" is now available.

Phoronix Test Suite 6.4 Milestone 3 has continued improvements in the area of stress benchmarking / burn-in testing with running multiple benchmarks simultaneously in order to fully load the system.

In addition to the phoronix-test-suite stress-run changes, there is more robustness work on results parsing, support for Phodevi to read the AMDGPU OverDriver overclock offset, a new "testing" page in the Phoromatic Server, and other minor changes/tweaks. Phoronix Test Suite 6.4 M3 also has a rewritten test suite (pts_test_suite) implementation that's more efficient and this rewritten class will allow for some new features to be announced shortly.

Last but not least there's a new PTS Watchdog Module that can be used for monitoring the system's temperature sensors and suspend -- or even quit, if the temperatures don't drop -- the testing process if temperatures are too high via the configurable module options. See that aforelinked article for more details.

You can download Phoronix Test Suite 6.4 Milestone 3 via Phoronix-Test-Suite.com or on GitHub. Phoronix Test Suite 6.4-Hasvik will be officially released in June.
