With the Qt 5.5 release candidate finally having made it out the door yesterday, The Qt Company has revised the final release date for Qt 5.5.

After multiple delays in the release schedule that extended it out months, the latest target was releasing Qt 5.5 at the end of June -- specifically, the release was most recently scheduled to happen today. However, with the release candidate having just shipped, Qt 5.5.0 is being pushed back to next week.

Jani Heikkinen of The Qt Company announced today that Qt 5.5 will be officially unveiled on 1 July. If you're not familiar with this big update, read about the Qt 5.5 features.
