The release candidate to Qt 5.5 is now available with The Qt Company hoping to officially ship this tool-kit update soon.

Qt 5.5 brings many new features but its release has been running much behind schedule as has sadly become common case for Qt5 releases. However, they're hoping to now get Qt 5.5 out the door soon.

The release announcement for the Monday morning release candidate of Qt 5.5 can be read on the Qt.io blog.
