Qt Creator 4.2 RC1 Released

The Qt Company today issued the first release candidate for the Qt Creator 4.2 integrated development environment release.

Some changes specific to Qt Creator 4.2 RC1 include early support for MSVC2017, the IDE is no longer blocked while the iOS simulator is starting, and other fixes. The big changes that landed earlier in the Qt Creator 4.2 cycle include a graphical editor for SCXML (State Chart XML), project mode changes, many small improvements to the Qt Quick Designer, improved profiling, better performance when opening CMake projects, and more.

Qt Creator 4.2 RC1 is available from qt.io. More details on Qt Creator 4.2 changes via the Git change-log.
