Qualcomm's Falkor core has been added formally to the GNU Compiler Collection.

With a commit by Linaro, the Falkor ARM/AArch64 code has an entry now for this Qualcomm ARM processor that is based on the ARM Cortex-A57.

Never heard of Falkor? I don't believe I have either until Anzwix pointed out this commit today. There aren't many Google results for "Qualcomm Falkor" and it appears the trademark was filed just last month. While Falkor is the product name, it appears QDF2400v1 might be the associated product number based on other patches referencing Falkor for GCC/Linux.

If anyone has any other information on Qualcomm's Falkor, feel free to share in the forums.
