Timothy Arceri, who is now working for Valve on the open-source AMD Linux stack, has sent out the latest patches for wiring in Mesa's GLSL on-disk shader cache for R600g/RadeonSI drivers.

Earlier this month he published the initial version of the shader cache patches for caching Gallium3D's TGSI IR to help speed along the OpenGL shader compilation process that can be beneficial particularly for Linux games that load their shaders on-the-fly.

Today, Arceri posted the latest R600g/RadeonSI patches for wiring the support into those AMD Gallium3D drivers as well as allowing the necessary support in Gallium3D's Mesa state tracker.

Hopefully it won't be too much longer before seeing this work merged.
