Raspberry Pi VC4 Gallium3D Support Continues Marching Along
Beyond all the recent kernel work with landing the initial Raspberry Pi KMS driver for the Linux 4.4 kernel, Eric Anholt at Broadcom has remained busy in user-space too with more improvements to the VC4 Gallium3D driver.
The flow has continued to keep up on Eric's work for advancing the fully-open 3D driver stack for supporting the Raspberry Pi. Notable today with his latest work is landing a number of patches for implementing MSAA. If you are using the latest Mesa Git code, there's now working multi-sample anti-aliasing (MSAA) for these low-power, low-end ARM devices.
