Earlier this week there were some last minute AMDGPU DRM kernel patches submitted that were needed for AMD's imminent Radeon RX 480 "Polaris" launch while today some last minute Mesa patches have materialized.

Nicolai Hähnle of AMD today mailed out two last minute Polaris patches for the RadeonSI driver. These patches are for Mesa Git and he's also hoping they will end up in time for the Mesa 12.0 release.

The patches for now can be found via this Mesa-dev thread until landing in Git master and then back-ported to 12.0.

My RX 480 Linux testing will be out on the 29th.
