Well known Mesa developer Marek Olšák has published a new patch series that yields better LLVM IR generation with the RadeonSI Gallium3D driver.

The ten patches published on Saturday improve the generation of LLVM's intermediate representation and removes uses of AMDGPU intrinsics. One of the changes also re-enables unsafe-fp-math when built against LLVM 3.8+.

Stats on the improved IR generation for RadeonSI can be found via the patch series.
