ReactOS 0.4 was up to a release candidate in December and now the official v0.4.0 release media is now available.

ReactOS 0.4 has been in development for more than one year and brings better network/wireless support, sound support, SATA support, a new explorer interface, big memory management changes, and much more.

You can find my earlier article of ReactOS 0.4 testing with Taking ReactOS 0.4 RC1 For A Test Drive To Experience Open-Source Windows Compatibility.

While I haven't seen any official ReactOS 0.4.0 release announcement come down the wire yet, a sharp Phoronix reader spotted the media is available via ReactOS on SourceForge.

Update: Release announcement now available on ReactOS.org.
