Sailfish OS 2.0 UI Now In Early Access

For Jolla Phone users part of their early access user group, the Sailfish OS 2.0 user interface is now available.

Sailfish OS 2.0 will bring simplifications to the mobile platform's user interface while still beautifying it and providing new functionality. Sailfish OS 2.0 will also be the first release to support smartphones and tablets, with the first Jolla Tablets finally shipping soon.

Sailfish OS 2.0 brings a new "carousel view", improvements to the Jolla Store, improvements to Events, the camera now records clips in H.264 format, Android app support improvements, and many other new improvements and features.

In other Jolla news, co-founder of Jolla and champion for Sailfish OS, Marc Dillon, recently left the company to pursue other opportunities.
