The Shadow Warrior remake of the 1997 3D Realms' game of the same name is seeing its native Linux release next week! The remake of Shadow Warrior has been out since 2013 by Flying Wild Hog while next week will mark its debut for Linux and OS X.

The Shadow Warrior remake is powered by Flying Wild Hog's own Road Hog Engine. This $40 USD game is self-described on Steam as, " Shadow Warrior is a bold reimagining of the classic 3D Realms’ shooter from independent developer Flying Wild Hog (Hard Reset) starring the legendary and quick-witted warrior Lo Wang. Combine the brute force of overwhelming firepower with the elegant precision of a katana to annihilate the merciless armies."

In a Facebook post this morning, the studio confirmed the Linux and OS X releases of the Shadow Warrior game will be coming next week.
