Version 1.2 "Shannon" of the promising Solus Linux distribution has been released.

Solus 1.2 features updates to its custom Budgie desktop envrionment, makes various software optimizations as a result of work done by Clear Linux (including Phoronix Test Suite numbers shared!) , gaming improvements, and a whole lot more.

Much more information on Solus 1.2 can be found via Solus-Project.com. Assuming the Solus installer is in better shape, I'll be adding Solus 1.2 to my large Linux distribution comparison that's happening in the next few days.
