So Long & Thanks For All The Fish!
As Michael mentioned earlier today this is my last day as the Phoronix Summer 2015 Intern.
It has been a very long and very busy last three months, and I wanted to take the chance to thank Michael once more for giving me this wonderful opportunity. It was a very nice change of pace to go from simply being a reader and reacting to Michael's articles, to instead being the creator and having to go through a smaller version of what he goes through every day.
I know some of my articles generated a fair bit of controversy, as I knew they would, but I also saw many readers thanking me for covering topics and giving a new perspective and style to the Phoronix queue. To those that offered me constructive criticism I say: thank you. Whether you agreed with my articles or not, those that offered direct and specific criticism were always read and welcome. This was, after all, a learning opportunity for me, and no one ever got better without being told what they were doing wrong.
I was a member of the community long before I signed on as the summer intern, and I see myself being a large part of the community going forward. So while I am stepping down, this won't be "good bye" for very long.
Once again, thank you, Michael!
So long and thanks for all the fish!
