Thankful for all of our content provided 365 days per year at Phoronix with not a 24+ hour break in nearly four years? Appreciate all of our prompt benchmarks of the latest enthusiast computer hardware and more? Like all of our original work on advancing open-source benchmarking via the Phoronix Test Suite, OpenBenchmarking.org, Phoromatic, and more? Here is your chance to help out.

With US Thanksgiving on Thursday, I'm once again running a Phoronix Premium special. For those that don't know, Phoronix Premium is our ad-free service for being able to enjoy the site ad-free, multi-page articles rendered on a single page, the occasional article that initially is for premium-only readers, HTTPS by default, and other benefits. The funds -- as low as a few dollars per month -- are re-invested into the site and help allow the site to continue to function. Next year it will be 13 years that I have been operating Phoronix.com and 9 years that I've been developing the Phoronix Test Suite.

Pay-per-impression advertisements remain the number one source of income so that Phoronix Media can continue while Phoronix Premium is the secondary source, for those that don't wish to see ads on the site or are just happy to provide some direct monetary compensation to help the testing efforts.

As with last year, now through 28 November is a Phoronix Premium sale/discount, which is offered just a few times/holidays per year. If you want to help support Phoronix but haven't yet joined Phoronix Premium, here's a great opportunity to enjoy our special service at a discount.

Through next Monday, annual premium subscriptions are just $20 USD (compared to $35 normally) or a lifetime premium membership for $100 USD (regularly $150). Via the Phoronix Premium page the sale isn't currently advertised, but to take advantage of this limited time deal, simply 1. register for the Phoronix Forums if you have never done so previously 2. send the payment amount above (again, $20 for a year-long subscription) to [email protected] or use this PayPal link 3. when making the payment, be sure to indicate your forum user-name in the comments/message area.

Upon receiving it, I'll manually activate your premium status on your account. I'm also happy to extend existing Phoronix Premium subscriptions at this discounted rate, etc. Generally this activation is done within a few minutes, aside from when sleeping, etc.

Feel free to post in the forums or contact me directly with any questions. Thanks for your support this holiday season. Alternatively to viewing our site without any ad-blockers or joining Phoronix Premium, other options include a holiday tip and using our Amazon.com and NewEgg.com affiliate links when making your purchases this holiday season.

As encouragement to join and thanks, over the next few days will be many exciting articles! A lot of fresh OpenCL, OpenGL, and Vulkan benchmarks coming up along with our other content straight through the holidays. The $20 per year offer isn't even $2 a month, but what a steal when generally on Phoronix are around 300 original news articles and reviews per month!
