Next week Epic Games is expected to ship the first preview version of Unreal Engine 4.8, which will come with SteamVR support.

While there's been VR support in the Steam client for a while, things are heating up with Valve rolling out their own VR headset for gamers.

With Unreal Engine 4.8 there will be good support for SteamVR. Details on this forthcoming VR support can be found via this Unreal Engine blog post. Expect to hear more about Unreal Engine 4.8 features next week when the preview version ships.
