Ubuntu 14.04.3 LTS Released With New Kernel & X Stack

Ubuntu 14.04.3 has been released today as the latest point release to this newest Long-Term Support stack handled by Canonical for Ubuntu Linux.

Ubuntu 14.04.3 LTS features an updated kernel and X.Org stack with those components being back-ported from the Ubuntu 15.04 packages. Besides bettering the graphics support, the new kernel benefits all architectures with greater hardware support and other improvements.

Besides Ubuntu Desktop?Server/Cloud/Core being updated for 14.04.3 LTS, the Kubuntu, Edubuntu, Xubuntu, Mythbuntu, Ubuntu GNOME, Lubuntu, Ubuntu Kylin, and Ubuntu Studio editions have all been updated with the new packages plus many bug-fixes packages that landed since Ubuntu 14.04.2 some months ago.
