It's a go: Linux 3.19 is powering Ubuntu 15.04.

While it's been expected for weeks, the Ubuntu Kernel Team in recent days officially landed their Linux 3.19 kernel package as the major version they'll lock onto for the April release for Ubuntu 15.04.

Linux 3.19 brings many new features and updates so it's an exciting addition for Ubuntu 15.04, along with other updated packages over Ubuntu 14.10 like Mesa 10.5 for Ubuntu Vivid.

The kernel version in the Ubuntu Vivid archive at the moment is Linux 3.19.0-7.7. The Ubuntu Vivid kernel freeze is in just over one month's time. More details via the kernel team's meeting minutes.
