The first point release to the Ubuntu 16.04 Long Term Support (LTS) release is now available.

Ubuntu 16.04.1 LTS incorporates various bug/security package updates since the April release of Ubuntu 16.04. Ubuntu 16.04.1 doesn't backport any hardware enablement stacks or anything along those lines -- that will come with Ubuntu 16.04.2 after the Ubuntu 16.10 release.

More details on Ubuntu 16.04.1 via the official announcement.
