Ubuntu 17.04 "Zesty Zapus" Spins Do Their Beta Release

Ubuntu derivatives opting to do so have issued their 17.04 "Zesty Zapus" Beta 1 releases tonight.

Flavors participating in the Ubuntu 17.04 Beta release include Kubuntu, Lubuntu, Ubuntu Budgie, Ubuntu GNOME, Ubuntu Kylin, Ubuntu Studio, and Xubuntu.

Kubuntu features the latest KDE Plasma 5 and KDE Applications 16.12.1, Ubuntu Budgie is using v10.2.9 of its desktop and GTK 3.24, Ubuntu GNOME is using 3.24 Beta, and Xubuntu has its few Xfce upstream package updates.

Ubuntu 17.04 is scheduled for release on 13 April while the final beta comes in 23 March and release candidate on 9 April.
