While Mythbuntu is out, Ubuntu Budgie is in as the newest official Ubuntu Linux flavor for the spin previously known as Budgie Remix.

On Tuesday the developers shared that the Ubuntu Technical Board has approved the official community flavor of the distribution. Ubuntu Budgie 17.04 will be the first official release due out in April (while an Ubuntu Budgie 16.04.2 update is also due in early 2017) and has come a long way since Budgie Remix began gaining steam with their 16.04 release. Budgie is the GTK-based desktop spearheaded by the Solus Linux crew and has been having a nice following.
