Canonical Reveals The Aquaris M10 Ubuntu Tablet

As anticipated, the first official Ubuntu Tablet done in cooperation with Canonical is Bq's Aquaris M10 Ubuntu Edition.

The Aquaris M10 Ubuntu Edition is running the same core as Ubuntu Phone and is designed to be capable of providing a full desktop experience while finalizing realizing Ubuntu's convergence vision. This tablet is powered by a MediaTek MT8163A quad-core Cortex-A53 AArch64 SoC, 2GB of RAM, 10.1-inch 1920 x 1200 display, 16GB eMMC storage, and up to an 11 hour battery life.


The Bq M10 Ubuntu Tablet will begin sales globally in Q2'2016 while the exact pricing has yet to be determined. Expect more Ubuntu mobile details to be revealed at this month's Mobile World Congress.
