Unity Rolls Out Vulkan Renderer In Preview Form

Unity today rolled out their first public preview of their Vulkan renderer for this popular cross-platform game engine.

They are shipping an experimental build based upon Unity 5.5 Beta 4 that patches in the experimental Vulkan renderer. The preview build enables Vulkan support for Windows and Linux standalone builds plus Android support. Under Linux, Unity has only been testing NVIDIA GPUs with their Vulkan renderer.
