Just two weeks after VirtualBox 5.0 showed the first signs of life, VirtualBox 5.0 Beta 2 is now available.

VirtualBox 5.0 Beta 2 is obviously still not recommended for use on production machines for virtualization, but does deliver various bug-fixes and improvements over the first beta. Details on VirtualBox 5.0 Beta 2 can be found via the vbox-announce message.

VirtualBox 5.0 brings para-virtualization support for Windows/Linux guests, new instruction set extensions now exposed to the guest VMs on modern systems, XHCI controller to support USB3 devices, bi-directional drag-and-drop support to guests, disk image encryption support, various GUI improvements, and many bug-fixes.
