Vivaldi TP3 Browser Adds Native Window Support On Linux

There's a new tech preview release out today for Vivaldi, the cross-platform, Chromium-powered web browser that's been generating a fair amount of interest since its release earlier this year.

Vivaldi has been fairly well supported on Linux since its launch (and even 32-bit Linux since a later update) while with today's third tech preview there is better integration. The Vivaldi TP3 release for Linux users now has optional native window support, to provide better integration with exisiting Linux desktop environments/decorations.

Vivaldi TP3 also has added a Tab stack and tab selection tiling in vertical/horizontal/grid organization, improved notes support, support for more most gestures, more keyboard shortcuts are present, data import capabilities from all major browsers, translations for more than 40 languages, a background tab progress indicator, improved spatial navigation, performance tuning, many bug-fixes, and a whole lot of other changes.

Vivaldi Tech Preview 3 is very heavy on new features and following this release the developers hope to issue the first Vivaldi Beta. While Vivaldi keeps adding in new features to this Chromium-powered browser, the software remains closed-source.
