Continuing Wayland release manager Bryce Harrington at Samsung has laid out plans for shipping Wayland/Weston 1.12 in just over one month.

Bryce is hoping to ship Wayland/Weston 1.12.0 around 13 September, which in order to meet that goal the alpha release and major feature freeze is now set for just one week -- around 16 August. A Wayland 1.12 beta would come at the end of August and a 1.12 release candidate around 6 September.

The concise schedule can be found via the Wayland mailing list. More details on the Wayland 1.12 features once the freeze is in effect.
