Wayland and its Weston reference compositor are up to their 1.9 release candidate.

Bryce Harrington, the current Wayland release manager, has announced the release candidates for Wayland 1.9 and Weston 1.9.

The Wayland 1.9 Release Candidate (v1.8.93) has no changes since the earlier beta. On the Weston side there are crash fixes for the Raspberry Pi back-end, a couple typos, and other fixes.

The releases were announced as usual to the wayland-devel list. Details on the overall changes for Wayland/Weston 1.9 can be found via this earlier article.
