WAYLAND
Wayland 1.7.93 and Weston 1.7.93 are now available, a.k.a. the second release candidates to Wayland 1.8.

You can read the Wayland 1.7.93 and Weston 1.7.93 announcements. There isn't much new on the Wayland side but the reference Weston compositor has a new feature.

Added for Weston 1.8 is now a headless rendering test framework. This allows Weston test cases to be run against an artificial monitor that's just an in-memory bitmap buffer and then screenshots of the test cases can be automatically taken.

Wayland/Weston 1.8 is expected to be officially released in about one week.
