Wine 1.9.16 offers JavaScript performance improvements, more Direct3D command stream improvements (but still not finished up yet), more Direct3D shader instructions, GDI performance improvements, and at least 43 bug fixes. For OS X / macOS users there is also improved 64-bit binary compatibility.

Wine users can find out more about the v1.9.16 unstable release via WineHQ.org. The Wine 1.9 unstable series will culminate with the stable Wine 2.0 release by year's end.
