For those that are members of the X.Org Foundation, the elections commenced this morning so it's time to cast your vote!

Besides voting for four new directors, they are once again tackling the matter of the by-laws change thus allowing them to merge with the SPI. They want to dissolve their own non-profit organization and become part of the SPI for financial and legal help, among other reasons. During last year's elections, the by-laws change failed due to not obtaining two-thirds of the members casting their ballots.

Meanwhile, running for the four X.Org Board of Directors seats this year are Egbert Eich, Lucas Stach, Bryce Harrington, Alex Deucher, and Keith Packard.

X.Org members can cast their ballot for the next two weeks via members.x.org.
