Libinput 1.3 was released today with support for tablet pads -- the tablet part of a graphics tablet, with this being the last feature the developers needed for declaring feature-complete graphics tablet support in this widely-used input handling library.

Libinput 1.3 also has spport for middle buttons of touchpads with a software button area. Touchscreens with a fuzz value on the kernel device are also now defuzzed in libinput. Various other fixes and minor improvements are also found in libinput 1.3, which is the critical input handling component for Wayland systems as well as many Mir and X.Org Server systems too.

More details on libinput 1.3 can be found via the official released announcement.
