    Now that the Linux 6.10 merge window has wrapped up, here's a look at all of the exciting features/changes coming to this summer 2024 kernel. Linux 6.10 brings a lot as usual for the latest/upcoming Intel and AMD platforms, never-ending work on file-systems, a new memory sealing "mseal" system call, TPM bus encryption, and dozens of other exciting changes and new hardware support.

      Meh. If they backport the AES-XTS upgrade then I’ll have no other reason to switch until 6.9 goes EOL.

          It takes like 5 minutes to upgrade
          Though I'm one to talk since it's been like a month since I upgraded. Gonna go do that now

            Only if you're installing a pre-compiled binary from your distribution and you don't care about the Kconfig.

              Or if you only compile the needed modules for your hardware on a recent many-core Zen 4 processor.

              Compile times for me are around two minutes.

                Will 6.10 have the Ipu6 driver to have working webcams on Alder Lake CPU, too?
