That is nice... how about automatic reclocking? It would have allowed normal use of my old Kepler Quadro equiped laptop without blob.

      > NVIDIA has yet to publish any documentation concerning Volta's 3D hardware or on their Tensor cores and other exciting aspects of the GPU.
      > still waiting on NVIDIA to release the signed firmware images to support hardware acceleration.
      > figuring out the re-clocking situation that will likely be dependent upon more signed firmware images being released by NVIDIA

Could only reply with this image of Linus Torvalds showing something to NVIDIA.

AMD is much more friendly towards the open-source. Go AMD !

It's so boring. On every Nvidia related topic somebody has to hate it and post Torvalds "friendly gesture". Do you really think that would help and Nvidia will change? No. It won't happen and posting Torvalds on every Nvidia related topic is simply boring.

If you like AMD just buy it and use. If somebody prefer Nvidia just respect it - Linux is freedom and everybody can choose what he want. If he doesn't care about AMD open source and prefer Nvidia for some reasons - it's his choice.
