Phoronix: NVIDIA vs. AMD Linux GPU Performance For THRONES OF BRITANNIA

This morning Feral Interactive released A Total War Saga: THRONES OF BRITANNIA for Linux gamers. This Linux port of A Total War Saga: THRONES OF BRITANNIA is powered by the Vulkan graphics API rather than OpenGL and makes for an interesting test subject. Here are our initial benchmarks of this game under Ubuntu Linux with a range of AMD Radeon and NVIDIA GeForce graphics cards.

Any chance of seeing an Amd vs Intel - 2700x vs say the 8700k with a 1080ti or something? Would also be awesome to see vs windows.

I always notice in RadV benchmarks the gap between the R9 290 and the rx 580 is too large. Seems like more performance work is required for RadV on sea islands GPUs.

Nice to see that i'm getting more fps on 1440p Ultra with GTX 1070 and Ryzen 7 1700X @3.9ghz than 8700-K gets.
