    Related: Barton George was recently in a Forbes article, in which he expressed his desire to expand the target audience to more than just developers, also stating "It doesn't necessarily have a consumer-friendly name, yet it's an ideal device for non-developers who want a rock solid, reliable (and yea, pretty sexy) laptop without the bloat and instability of Windows 10."

    That'd be pretty sweet if the Sputnik team can pull that off.

      Look how far Linux has gone, nowadays a "developer edition" laptop means the machine comes with Linux!
      Indeed, development of desktop applications for Windows is out of fashion, most software is now web-first or mobile-first.

      Windows is losing relevance quite fast.

          yeah, unfortunately on the XPS 13 (and 15 2:1) Dell ruined the keyboard with annoying page-up/down keys one often presses actually together with the arrow keys https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TlXNGVVeFJY will make most developers go crazy, … :-/
