    One notable omission in the Thunderbolt stack on Linux: the Redwood Ridge (DSL4410) chip on my Supermicro X10SAT. Even that patch set seems to miss any mention of Redwood Ridge. The BIOS supports several security modes, but the only mode that works with Linux is Legacy (i.e. insecure) mode.
