All the 0.8-rc's have been like that. The only thing that's actually new (since rc4) are bug fixes and full 5.1 support. I say full because rc4 compiled and worked with 5.1 on my system.

I assume it's pretty much the same thing as the FreeBSD ZoL (ZoF) releases coming out. Those are installer images though.

Looks juicy, I'm just too scared to upgrade my pools yet. heh.

I've wanted native crypto for 10 years so I could go desktop > nas > cloud with my backups without having a non zfs sendable layer in between.
