Phoronix: LoadLibrary: Support For Loading Windows DLLs On Linux

A Google researcher has been developing "LoadLibrary" as a means of being able to load Windows Dynamic Link Libraries (DLLs) that in turn can be used by native Linux code...

If you want to improve Windows security, use Windows. Don't involve Linux people with trash

That's like saying "If you want to serve up web pages to Windows users, use a Windows-based web server".

If he finds it easier to write a DLL loader for Linux than to virtualize Windows efficiently, recognize it for the egg on Windows's face that it is and move on.

The alternative of Google to bring Windows games on Stadia without relying on Proton/Wine, they are just misguiding the general attention but they are also telling: "we have something hot on the plate!"

Well, it's not the best analogy but, anyway, you're right, I move on: if someone wants to spend time and effort on this, it's ok, of course. I was just responding to rene

Awesome. Hope this will eventually replace all ELF .so files in the future so we can get rid of the dependency hell due to ELF's retarded global symbols support that almost everyone uses.

                Make .DLLs native for Linux!

While we're at it, the Windows OS kernel should replace the Linux kernel, and lets use NTFS by default as well. Brilliant!

I like how the developer used the 'Aliens' guy GIF on his GitHub page. This dude knows his memes.
