The Linux support continues to be worked on for this "PMT" functionality although it looks like the work won't be ready in time for the imminent Linux 5.9 kernel merge window...

      Isn't JSON schema / validation still very young? I don't think there is yet a full standard for it (still in draft) or an RFC.

      In other words. JSON is great for the wild-west style mess of web development but for more important things, XML is still king (best of a bad bunch basically ).
