Isn't that be the great thing? That after recording video with your camera it gets encoded to AV1/whatever uses little space while being lossless or having little loss?
Maybe in one or two years automatic AV1 Android encoding is pretty common.

I'm glad you got my point. The previous two completely missed it. I expect if you bought a brand new phone and started encoding a 30 second 4k clip your phone would die and need replacing in a few years before the clip finished encoding.
