Now I am just waiting for the Rust GTK crate to get GTK 4 support, and for some way to make GtkBuilder XML files because Glade is old and writes GTK 3 output, GNOME Builder doesn't have any way create GtkBuilder files, and writing your own files is tricky when you don't know the names of the elements and properties and what order to place them in and how to nest them.

We have yet to see anything of KDE move to Qt 6, I expect the first parts to move in around 2 years.
Flutter is a completely different beast.

Hard to compare any of them. But if we just compare GTK to Qt, then I would choose GTK because contributions to it aren't sold under a greedy proprietary license. Also the GTK Project does not have the habit to threaten the community it relies on regularly.

This is not a trolling attempt: What does Gtk4 have that Qt6 doesn't? The state of Qt6 is surely not ideal, and the combination with the expiring 5.15 is shit, but the modules not yet ported do not seem to have a counterpart in Gtk.

AFAIK the Wayland support in GTK4 is more solid than QTs. But then on other platforms such as Win/MacOS QT is probably in better shape. Also, AFAIK QT has always been a dialect of c++ while GTK was plain c. Did that change in recent QT versions?

According to Guillaume Gomez, the crate is already ready for GTK4, just use latest git and you should be mostly fine
