    Even though it was touched on in the OpenCL 3.0 launch announcement [1], I'm still unclear on the distinction between this and the OpenCL C++ kernel language introduced as part of OpenCL 2.1 [2].

    In any case, it sounds like a positive development.

    I wonder if ARM will update their drivers to support OpenCL 3.0 on the Mali-G52 (Bifrost Gen2), in my ODROID-N2. But, there's next to zero chance of using it on a non-rooted Android phone, since Google banned OpenCL on Android.
