The sound is terrible, but if I'm not mistaken - they somehow managed to start VM with GPU passthrough on computer that have installed only one consumer GPU (and probably it is not related with Intel GVT-g)...

you are wrong, that is explicitly what it IS. you can think of it as a helper for the technology, (IE. MXgpu, Vgpu, GVT-g) that is explicitly why they said they are excited for the dg1. you will want to keep an eye out for qemu + venus support, as once that is merged it MAY become worthwhile for someone to port venus to windows. then you can use dxvk for many applications. but this will not help those on AMD gpus, as AMD gaming gpus don't physically support mxgpu. at least to my knowledge. (i could be wrong on this one, but have yet to be proven so, I really hope I am though)
