    Hardware support for these types of devices is FreeBSD's weakest point at the moment.
    It's good that this is being worked on.
    I hope Intel's 12th and 13th gen get better support soon.

      Can't complain about modems tho. Had Sierra 4G modem in old Asus netbook. Figuring config out in text file was learning experience tho. Never had done it.
      USB ones (Huawei etc) have worked as well (needed mode-switch or smth)

      Happy about improving linux-kpi tho

        With Linux developers talking up removal of RNDIS from the kernel, these 4G USB modems may soon be the only way to get internet connectivity via WAN on Linux when on the go.

        I'm going to order a few Huawei 4G USB modems from China to keep as spares, just in case.
